Even if you don’t have an immediate need to repair or replace a part on your pressure washer, it’s a good idea to have your model number on hand just in case such an emergency comes along. Your model number is your key to finding a digital copy of your user manual online. Not to mention, it’s also vital for verifying fitment for replacement parts and accessories. Even if you can’t find your user manual, having your pressure washer model number can help you find parts diagrams that would lead you to the parts and accessories you need.

Before you assume you’ve found the decal with your pressure washer model number, lets take a look at the places not to look. Pressure Washers are made with several model numbers that may be specific to components on the pressure washer such as the engine or the pump. The pressure washer model number identifies all parts on the unit, rather than parts for a specific component. Be sure when you look for your pressure washer model sticker, that you avoid looking at stickers on the engine or pump. Manufacturers often put large flashy decals on the engine such has "Honda GCV190". These decals should especailly be avoided.
